Allyn W. Prochaska, 70, of Gaston, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Born in Florence, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Allyn Frank Prochaska and Myrtle Collins McCutcheon. Allyn was a very simple and compassionate man. He was an avid Clemson fan.

Survivors include his daughters, Carla Germany, Crystal Prochaska, and Ann Bradley; son, Donald Prochaska; sisters, Debra Kanning (Randy), Linda Odom (Leon), Gina Geddings; brothers, Kenny Prochaska (Terry), Terry McCutcheon, and Joey McCutcheon; grandchildren, Jackson Watts, Haylee Watts, Jim Germany, III, and Elliott Germany; great-grandchildren, Brayden Watts, Peyton Watts, Levi Watts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Jane Johnson Prochaska, and Dianne Prochaska; daughter, Christy Prochaska; brothers, Bruce and Donald Prochaska.

A graveside service will be held 12 o'clock, Friday, October 19th, at Southland Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ronnie Buff officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
