Ann Lowman Stuckey, 83, of Columbia, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Born on April 6, 1933 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Woodruff H. and Lucille Williams Lowman. Ann loved children, and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in education. She worked for many years as a substitute teacher. She was a woman of deep faith, and was a member of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church.
Ann is survived by her son, Daniel Stuckey; a special niece, Lee Ann Guthrie; and by several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Wistar Daniel Stuckey.
A service for Mrs. Stuckey will be held two o'clock on Tuesday, May 31st, at the mausoleum chapel of Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Rd., Columbia, with The Rev. Dr. Ellen Fowler Skidmore officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
The family is appreciative of the care given by the staff of Opus Post Acute Rehabilitation. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
