Chanthachone J. Siharath, 36, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Born on September 11, 1985, in Thailand, he was the son of Vilayphone Phouttavong and the late Thanome Siharath.
John graduated from Airport High School and pursued a career in the restaurant industry as a chef. He was a hard-worker, selfless, and very loving. He always made others laugh by pulling pranks or cracking jokes. John was very outgoing and lived life in the fast lane. He had a passion for cars and motorcycles. Although, his pride and joy was his son, Levi Kyng Siharath and the love of his life, Alexis Wilson. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother and son, he is survived by his brothers, David and Chop Siharath; sister, Janet Phetchamphone; aunts, Sandy Beauharnois, Phaylath Phouttavong, and Noukie Phouttavong; uncles, Phoung Phouttavong, Bounmy Phouttavong, Joong Phouttavong, and Tony Sou; nieces and nephews, Autumn, Mireya, Jackson, Nicholas, Nathan, Gabriella, River, Emily, Kelvin, Jayvin, and Devin; and mother to his child, Alexis Wilson. Along with his father, is he preceded in death by grandparents, Bounsong and Saysamone Phouttavong.
The funeral service for Mr. Siharath will be held at 2 o'clock on Saturday, June 18th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17th, from 1 until 3 o'clock at the funeral home.
