Mrs. Chung Cha Crowe's Obituary
Mrs. Chung Cha Crowe, 78, of Columbia, went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Born in South Korea on August 15, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Eyesoon Soon.
A faithful member of Columbia Korean United Methodist Church, Mrs. Crowe served as a deacon. She was a loving, caring person who never met a stranger. She made sure everyone she encountered was taken care of to the best of her abilities and always had a smile on their face. Mrs. Crowe loved her family and was an amazing cook.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas J. Crowe; son, Chang Esmont (Cari); grandsons, Martin Esmont (Paige), Steven Esmont; great-grandson, Connor Michael Esmont. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Crowe was preceded in death by her loving grandmother.
A funeral service will be held at 12 o'clock, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel with The Rev. Daniel Ra officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn memorial Park. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 11 o'clock. A livestream of Mrs. Crowe's service may be viewed by visiting her tribute wall at ShivesFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Columbia Korean United Methodist Church, 420 North Chelsea Rd., Columbia, SC, 29223.
