Cindy Ryan, 55, of Lexington, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Born November 3, 1963, in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Eugene Porter, Sr. and Nell Jones Porter.

She was a 1982 graduate of Eau Claire High School and a member of Eau Claire Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the GA'S. Cindy was a doting mother who adored her son. She was an excellent cook and caretaker who loved her family very much. She had a huge heart and was a big sister to all her brothers' friends. Cindy was a lady who always put others before herself and will be missed terribly.

Survivors include her son, Connor Dylan Ryan; brothers, Timothy Montgomery (Linda), Kenneth E. "Kenny" Porter, Jr. (Jennifer), Christopher Cole Porter (Paula); nieces and nephews, Scott Collins (Amy), Amanda Porter, Natalie Porter Frawley and Christopher Porter (Kasey); great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyson Collins, Caroline Marie Collins, Raegan Frawley and Adalyn Frawley.

The service for Ms. Ryan will be held 5 o'clock, Saturday, November 10th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext, Columbia, with The Reverend Steven Bouknight officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
