Finice Daina Ryan, 76, of Lugoff, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Born January 14, 1941 in Oneida, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Charles E. Ryan and Cora E. Ryan.

Mr. Ryan was a humble man who loved the Lord, his church and witnessing to others. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and dinners with his family. He was the owner of Country Charm Yogurt Shop in Elgin.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Nancy Ryan; son, Ronnie Ryan; daughter Sharon Ryan; step-children, James McAnally and Kenneth McAnally; brothers, Ivan Ryan and Phillip Ryan; sisters, Gale King and Peggy Turnbill; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Ryan; and sister, Alice Ryan.

The service for Mr. Ryan will be held 5 o'clock, Saturday, September 23rd, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, with Pastor Lorenzo White officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Indian School, 1301 North Main St., Chamberlain, SD 57325, or Re-Member, PO Box 5054, Pine Ridge, SD 57770 in support of the Lakota Indians in South Dakota.
