Harriet Frick Moore, 75, of Columbia, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 after a short illness. Born August 9, 1939, in Prosperity, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harry Otis Frick and Mary Werts Frick of Columbia. She worked for Richland School District One and was a secretary for Hammond School.

Mrs. Moore was devoted to her husband, her family and her church. She enjoyed her pets and had many during her lifetime. She believed strongly in her faith and her Lord. Mrs. Moore was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church and served the church in many capacities during her lifetime.

She is survived by her beloved husband, William Edwin "Eddie" Moore; sons, Michael (Michelle), Edwin (Maura) and Jason (Amanda); grandchildren, McLean, Wilson, Ellie, Lillian and Hamilton Moore; step-grandchildren, TJ and Bryce Overcash, Cody and Clair Moore; her brother, Charles Frick; as well as her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The service for Mrs. Moore will be held 2:00 o'clock, Monday, June 8th, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, with The Rev. Dr. David H. Brooks officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery will be private. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock, Sunday, June 7th, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church's reception room. Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is assisting the family.
