Jim Stricklin was born in Florence, South Carolina, to the late William Joseph Stricklin, Jr. and Willie Fae (Brown) Stricklin. Jim attended The Citadel for his college education. He loved living in Charlotte, North Carolina, before spending his later years in Columbia, South Carolina and Lexington, South Carolina. We will cherish our memories and love he left us. Mr. Stricklin is survived by his twin sister, Elizabeth Stricklin (Patrick Flynn), brother William Joseph Stricklin, III (Karen), and his nieces and nephews, Shelby Stricklin, William Joseph Stricklin IV, Molly Flynn, Patrick Flynn, and Sean Flynn.
The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Diabetes Research Institute or American Diabetes Association.
