John Malcolm McColl, 70, of Lexington, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Born in Florence, SC, October 13, 1946, he was a son of the late Thomas and Susie Bell Mooneyhan McColl. John Malcolm was a former barber and mechanic. He was an avid dirt bike rider and loved drag racing.

Survivors include his children, Patti Jacob, and Paul McColl; grandchildren, Alana Redmond Dagerfield, Kamron Jacob, Preston Jacob, and Keltsey Jacob; siblings, Susie McColl, Nathan McColl, Thomas (Sarah) McColl, and Mary Ann (Bill) Regan.

A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, April 23rd at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. Interment will be held 4 o'clock at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery, St. Matthews, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
