Joyce Darlene Varnadore, 80, of West Columbia, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 11, 2021. She fought a long hard battle with her health. Joyce was a strong woman and a fighter until the end. She retired from Pontiac Foods where she was a very hard worker. Joyce loved to garden and be outside, spending time with her family.

Survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Thomas H. Varnadore; stepson, Scott Varnadore (Jacque) of Beaufort; stepdaughter, Kathleen Drawdy (Larry) of West Columbia; son-in-law, David Blackwell of Elgin; grandsons, Dustin and Dylan Blackwell of Elgin; stepgrandson, Hunter Drawdy; nephew, Glenn Myers, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, Ralph and Donna Largent Myers; her son, Randy Finch; daughter, Debbie Blackwell; grandson, Joshua Finch and brother, David Myers.

Due to the Covid pandemic, there will not be a service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lexington Medical Center and Doctors Brearley, Leonardi and Day for their care and compassion during this time.
