Ka Ree, 72, of Columbia, passed away August 31, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital. He was born on January 1, 1945 in Pazound, Myanmar.

Ka Ree served in Christian ministry for 50 years. He was married to Ah Mu and God gave him five daughters and thirteen grandchildren. His main goal was to live to the glory of God, and love his family. His greatest passion was reading the Holy Bible. He also loved to spend time with the family. We will always have our father, Ka Ree, in our hearts.

A service for Mr. Ree will be held from 11:30 until 1 o'clock, Saturday, September 2nd, at First Baptist Church, Boyce Chapel, 1306 Hampton St, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
