Obituary

Keith Ray Craft, 88, went to his Heavenly home on November 8, 2021. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was known for his love of God, big heart, selfless attitude, and contagious sense of humor.

He was born on April 11, 1933, in Wayne County, West Virginia. After high school, he went on to serve in the military. Ray then had a long-standing career with Modern Exterminating.

He was a constant leader within his church. Whether driving the church bus for the ladies Sunday school class to conferences, volunteering for numerous youth group trips, going on a mission trip to Haiti with his wife, or leading his boy-scout troop, he was always there to help when needed. His ultimate love was managing First Church of God Camp in The Pines and assisting with First Church of the Nazarene campgrounds. He loved his South Carolina Gamecocks and taking the boat out skiing with his girls.

Ray was blessed with a large and loving family. He married the love of his life, Lynette, and went on to have four beautiful daughters.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Lynette Craft; daughters, Linda Padgett (Henry), Sarah Haner, Tammy Dickert (Mike), and Terri Rideoutte; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a sister, Janet Kelley Spitdowski (Paul). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Kevin Haner; brother, James L. Kelley; as well as a great grandson, Jace Hunt.

The funeral service for Ray will be held at 3 o'clock, Thursday, November 11th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC with Rev. Ron Bower and Rev.
