Peggy H. Camlin, 76, of Columbia, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. Born August 28, 1940, in Conway, she was a daughter of the late Richard Ervin and Virginia Pinner Hearl.

A member of Shandon Baptist Church, and involved in the Children's Ministry, she was a homemaker and former employee of Family Christian Stores. Peggy also helped make meals for
The Ronald McDonald House and enjoyed exercising, waterskiing and cooking for her family.

Survivors include her spouse of almost 49 years, Glen Camlin; children, Traci Swaney (Michael), Debbie Anderson (Charles), and Glen, Jr. (Stevie); grandchildren, Faith Anderson, Noah Swaney, Taylor Anderson, Brock Swaney, Eva Camlin, C. J. Anderson, Crawford Camlin, Rhett Davis Camlin, Rachel Camlin and Ashley Keith Camlin; sisters, Sylvia Parsons, Linda Floyd, and Beth Duke (Thomas); aunts, Allene Thomas and Ruth Pinner; uncle, Alvin Moore as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The service for Mrs. Camlin will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, June 3rd, at Shandon Baptist Church, 5250 Forest Drive, Columbia, with The Reverend L. Barry Gray and The Rev. Dennis Banks officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
