Robin Lynn Barnette Sharpe, 59, of West Columbia, died on Friday, January 21, 2022. Born in Columbia, SC, on June 30, 1962, she was a daughter of Jacqueline Lee Provo Moorer and the late Donald Franklin Barnette. Robin was a loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother. She graduated from Spring Valley and Midlands Technical College. Robin spent her life caring for others in Health Care, most of her time as a Home Health Nurse.

Survivors include her husband, Daryll V. Sharpe; sons, Nelson Graham Dowdy, Jr. and Brandan Alan Barnette (Sam); daughter, Lauren Jeffcoat (Brandon); grandchildren, Prestyn Barnette, Caleb Barnette, Wyatt Jeffcoat, Callie Peake and Cade Peake; mother and stepfather, Jacqueline L. Moorer (Ronald) brothers, Ricky Moorer (Tara) and Roger Moorer (Patty); sister, Rhonda Moorer (Ray). In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Moorer, Jr.; great-grandmother, Allie Richardson Rabon; and grandmother, Alice Snow.

The funeral service for Mrs. Sharpe will be held at 2:30 o'clock, Friday, January 28th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, with Rev. David Spires officiating. Entombment will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 1:30.
