Obituary

Sanna Adrienne Youmans Beaty was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022. Known as "Tata" by her grandchildren, loved ones, and friends, Sanna was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on November 24, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Francis Bartow Youmans and Elizabeth Carter Pouder Youmans. Sanna completed grade school at ETSC Training School in Johnson City. At age 17 she spent the summer at a Christian camp, Camp of the Woods, in New York where she honed her skills as a soprano and recorded a beautiful Christian song called "Come Unto Me". She studied for two years here in South Carolina at Columbia Bible College. She then married and had three children.

Sanna was an active member of Columbia Choral Society. She worked for First National Bank for 20 years and became an Assistant Vice President. She took an early retirement from the South Carolina State Museum Foundation to care for her parents in Johnson City for nearly 12 years. Sanna was a long-time faithful member of Trinity Church in Columbia since its founding. "Tata" was a marvelous cook and will forever be fondly remembered by family and neighborhood friends for her weekend offerings of sausage bean chowder and her homemade
bread! Sanna's loved ones and friends will miss her so very much.

Survivors include her children, James Wilson "Jim" Beaty, Jr., and his wife, Karen Hardwick Beaty, Sanna Elizabeth "Lyssa" Beaty Fisher and her husband, John Northrop Fisher, Jr., and
