William Benjamin Surratt, 74, of Lancaster, CA, formerly of Columbia, died July 26, 2014. Born October 20, 1939 in Columbia, he was a son of the late George Surratt and Mabel Venson Surratt. Mr. Surratt was a retired ironworker, and was a member of the Ironworkers Union for more than 40 years. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his son William (Tracy) Surratt; grandchildren, Kelly and Ryan Surratt all of Corona, CA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, G. Venson Surratt.

A graveside service will be held at 10 o'clock, Monday, August 4th at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
