William C. "Bill" Wesberry, 74, of Columbia, died Friday, March 18, 2016. Born October 18, 1941 to the late Reginald Ernest and Madrid Johnson Wesberry, he graduated from Columbia High School in 1959 and attended the University of South Carolina. For the bulk of his career, Bill worked as a manufacturer's representative in the plumbing industry. More recently, he operated Snack Centers, a small vending business. Bill was a proud Mason of B-L Masonic Lodge #138 for over 50 years and Jamil Shrine Temple. In 1964 he became a Master Mason. He loved golfing at the Ponderosa C.C. in Batesburg-Leesville.

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Weaver (Bill) of Columbia, and Krista Wesberry of Simpsonville; a son, the Rev. Dr. Wain Wesberry (Sarah), of Fernandina Beach, FL; and five grandchildren, Tucker and Sutton Allendorf, Neal Weaver, Will and Aubrey Wesberry. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wesberry is preceded in death by his brothers, Reginald Ernest, Jr. and Wesley McLeod.

There will be a visitation on Friday, March 25th from 2:00 until 4:00 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, March 26th.
