Zion Dean Giusti, 14, of Lexington, died Saturday, October 9, 2021. Born November 4, 2006, in Gainesville, Florida, he was a son of Gino Giusti and Edith Lee Eddleton Giusti.

Zion loved music and was a talented musician himself. He played bass guitar and was collaborating with his twin brother to start their own band. He was quick witted, had a dry sense of humor, and cheerful disposition. Zion attended St. Joseph's Catholic School, Cardinal Newman High School, and was most recently a freshman at Lexington High School. Zion was a dedicated Christian and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his twin brother, Aizik; sister Giada, and brother, Logan. Zion was also survived by his paternal grandparents, Sergio and Sylvia Giusti of Miami, Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Zion will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday, October 19th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3512 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205 with Rev. Msgr. Richard Harris and Chaplain Ron Anderson officiating. Final commendations and farewell prayers will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Cemetery, 195 Amicks Ferry Road, Chapin, SC 29036.

A vigil service for Zion will be held at 5 o'clock Monday, October 18th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends following the vigil service at the funeral home until 8 o'clock.
