Landon W. "Billy" Ard Jr., 64, of West Columbia, died Friday, February 05, 2016. Born July 22, 1951, in Columbia, he was a son of Landon W."Bill" Ard, and the late Ida Beatrice William Ard. Billy was a loving father, grandfather and son and will be missed by many.

Survivors include his father, Bill Ard; son, Chris Ard (Donna) and Jennifer Leigh Wingard; four grandchildren. In addition to his mother, Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Albert Ard.

The funeral service for Mr. Ard will be held 2:30 o'clock, Monday, February 8th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, with The Rev. Henry Cooper. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 o'clock.
