Grady Richard "Dick" Shealy, 70, of Irmo, died Thursday, January 9, 2014. Born June 10, 1943 in Columbia, he was a son of the late Grady William and Beatrice Corine Davis Shealy. Dick loved cars, was a member of the Jamil Shrine Temple and attended Gateway Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ivey Shealy; sons, G. Richard "Rick" Shealy, Jr. and Michael Todd Shealy; and grandsons, Colton Richard Shealy, William Blake Byerly Hall, James Riley O'Quinn, and Michael Westin Shealy.

A memorial service for Mr. Shealy will be held at 2 o'clock, Sunday, January 12th, at Shives Funeral Home Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia, with The Rev. Don Brock officiating.
