Obituary

Keith E. Didyoung, 56, of Blythewood, died Sunday, May 26, 2013. Born September 15, 1956 in White Plains, NY, he was a son of the late Eugene Edward Didyoung and Sarah Margaret Marano Didyoung. A member of Transfiguration Catholic Church, Keith loved animals and enjoyed communing with the outdoors. He graduated from Westlake High School in Thornwood, New York in 1974, attended Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, New York and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1984. He was a well-loved and highly respected physician's assistant. In addition to his work with the Providence Northeast Emergency Department, Keith worked for many years with Palmetto Family Medicine. Additionally, he was a member of the American Association of Physician's Assistants, and he was the Past-President of the South Carolina Association of Physician's Assistants.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, D. Ellen Ravesi Didyoung; daughter, Erin Didyoung; sons, Mark and Chris Didyoung; brother, Glenn Didyoung (Kenny Lindler); and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A mass of Christian burial for Mr. Didyoung will be held 2 o'clock Thursday, May 30th at Transfiguration Catholic Church, with The Rev. Fr. Andrew Trapp officiating. The family will receive friends at the church, from 1 until 2 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church, 306 North Pines Road, Blythewood, SC, 29016.
