Obituary
Linda Christine "Chris" Laughead, 65, of Elgin, died on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Born December27, 1955, in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Leland Caughman and Louise Kinard Caughman.
Chris loved gardening, especially growing herbs and her interest in flowers led her to becoming a florist. She enjoyed cooking for her family and get togethers. Ms. Chris loved her "furbabies", two cats, Meanie and Willie.
Survivors include her loving husband, David A. Laughead; sons, Michael (Krystal), Jeremy (Mary), Benjamin (Rebecca); along with her grandchildren, Spencer, Libby, and Ransom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leland, Lynne; and sister, Carolyn.
A private family Celebration of Life for Ms. Chris will be held at a later date.
