"Greg" Oren Gregory Russell, of Columbia, South Carolina, born on September 10, 1950 in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Betty Ann (Ferrari) and Oren Jenkins Russell, passed away on December 13, 2018.

Greg was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College. He was in the Health Insurance industry at Blue Cross Blue Shield and retired after more than 20 years of work there.

Greg is survived by his daughters Tracy (Doug) Fullenkamp and Barbara (granddog Gracie) Grubbs; and sons Adam (Dana) and Michael (Kathryn); and grandchildren, Eykis, Karstyn, Sophia, Braxtyn, and Elijah. Greg's hobbies included hunting, fishing, traveling, cooking, reading, and visiting his grandchildren. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
