Rosemarie Pulver Edwards, 75, of Columbia, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Born in Kaiserslautern, Germany, on March 12, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Elisabetha Pulver. Rosemarie was a longtime member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, and secretary-treasurer of the Cannon Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Orville F. Edwards, Sr.; sons, Orville F. Edwards, Jr. and wife, Tracie, of Greenville, SC and Julius P. Edwards and wife, Connie, of St. Johns, FL; daughter, Petra Santangelo and husband, Michael, of Norristown, PA; grandchildren, Orville F. Edwards, III, Christina L. Edwards, Emily N. Becknell, Katherina M. Stantangelo, Theresa L. Edwards, Michael A. Santangelo, Bianca R. Edwards; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Rosemarie was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
The funeral service for Mrs. Edwards will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, June 23rd, at St. Mark United Methodist Church, with The Rev. Daniel Burbage officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock in the church sanctuary. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
