Susan Elizabeth Wages, 56, of Gaston, died Monday, November 6th, 2023. She was born April 3rd, 1967 in Washington, DC.

Susan dedicated 17 years of her life to making Heaven Seventeens at Steve's Deli. She always proudly spoke her mind and was known for being sassy. To her, it did not matter if you were blood related or not. Her family was her family. She loved her grandchildren above all and made them the focus of her life. Susan will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. As she would always say, "Don't make me come back and dot you in the eye!"

Susan is preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Ross, and sister, Cathi Little. Survivors include, her father, Troy Ross; children, Blythe Davis (Jason), Amanda Wages (Matt), Andi Riggs (Alysia), and Joseph L. Wages Jr. (Kimberly); siblings, Randy Ross, Scott Ross (Sherri), Bret Ross (Pam), Craig Ross, Jeff Davis, and Jimmy Davis; Life Partner, Chris Riggs; 8 grandchildren, known to her as "her favorite little people"; the father of her children, Lee Wages; and a whole bunch of nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 o'clock, Sunday, November 12th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd. Ext., Columbia, SC. The family will receive guests at 1 o'clock prior to the service.
