Jack Lynn Epps, 65, of Columbia died Thursday, December 15, 2016. Born October 11, 1951, he was the son of Anna Mixon Epps and the late Jack Epps. He was a graduate of Brookland Cayce High School and was a US Navy veteran. Mr. Epps was a member of Holland Avenue Baptist Church and the Berea Fellowship Sunday School Class. He served on many committees and as a deacon. He retired after 36 years of service with Time Warner Cable and always enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and Gamecock sports.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Kaiser Epps; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Epps; mother, Anna Mixon Epps; sisters, Ginger Epps DuBose (Richard), Mary Epps Goginsky (Dennis); nephews, Jeremy DuBose, Peter and Matthew Goginsky; and niece, Anna Goginsky.

The funeral service will be held 2:30 o'clock, Sunday, December 18th, at Holland Avenue Baptist Church, with The Rev. Dow Welsh and Dr. Chet Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
