Mark A Goff, 57, of Elgin, died on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Born March 23, 1964, in Columbia, he was a son of Gary A. Goff and Mary Miles Goff.

A member of Alpine Baptist Church, Mark was known as a kind and gentle soul, who loved his family, especially his niece, Zoey, aka "Doodlebug". He was an avid Gamecocks fan, who loved classic mustangs, and animals.

Survivors include his parents; brother, Jeff Goff; sister, Jan Lee (Joey); nephews Tyler Hedgepath, and Justin Goff (Hayley); great nieces, Zoey Hedgepath, Adelyne aka "Nubbin" Goff.

A funeral service will be held 4 o'clock, Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Alpine Baptist Church with Rev. Robin Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 3 o'clock, at the church. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family. All are welcome to attend; however, masks and social distancing are encouraged to maintain a safe environment for all.
