Obituary
Albert Charles Young, Sr., 84, of Columbia, died Monday, January 12, 2015. Born April 6, 1930, in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late Raymond and Helen Muller Young. Albert served in the US Navy for nine years, worked with Industrial Welders, and was a member of Covenant Community Fellowship.
Survivors include his wife, Thearl Peach Young; sons, Anthony and Robert Young, all of Columbia; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by sons, Albert C. Young, Jr. and Thomas D. Young; two sisters; and his brother.
The memorial service for Mr. Young will be held at Covenant Community Fellowship at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the church at 1111 Mason Rd, Columbia, SC 29203.
