Alice Fay Bartles Winslow, 72, of Columbia, was called home Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Born to the late Charles J. and Anna Belle Sale Bartles, she was married to the late Bruce Howard Winslow. She never met a stranger. Alice was an avid collector of antiques and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her children, Karen Winslow Spires (Kelvin); Michael Winslow (Devon), Brett Winslow (Keri); grandchildren, Chris Rush, Allison Rush, Andrew Winslow, Brandon Winslow, Nicole Winslow, Katlyn Winslow, Brandon Arrants, Kayla Spires; sisters, Betty Radcliffe and Charlotte Mahuron; a brother, Joseph Bartles; an uncle, Charlie Sale; an aunt, Betty Koch; numerous nieces and nephews and her dachshund dog, Barney. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Deloris Morrison; and niece, Sarah Mahuron Berry.

A graveside service will be held at 1 o'clock, Thursday, November 15th at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, is assisting the family.
