Ms. Joiner was born in Columbia, SC on February 11, 1985, and passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Ms. Joiner grew up in Chapin, SC and attended Chapin High School. She graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Columbia and received her cosmetology license. She was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church and served on Global Missions Committee. Ms. Joiner also traveled to Guyana, South American with members of Mt. Horeb to share fellowship and work with the Guyanese people, as well as a trip to Nicaragua with Habitat for Humanity. Ms. Joiner was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ballentine #280.

Surviving is her beautiful daughter, Myra Leigh Hamilton; her father, Barney Joiner (Judy); mother, Cheryl Joiner; sister, Michelle Moschgat (Brian); brother, Ryan Joiner; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

For those who knew Alicia they knew she was a kind-hearted and caring person. She loved her daughter and her family immensely. She fought the good fight against cervical cancer.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 25, 2021, at 4 o'clock at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery, 101 E Boundary St, Chapin, SC 29036, with Pastor Ralph Hill officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
