Allen Lee Roy Blizzard, Sr., 65, of Lugoff, died Sunday, October 4, 2015. Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late Wesley and Maggie Irene Richardson Blizzard. Allen enjoyed going to the beach and Maggie Valley.

Survivors include sons, Allen L. Blizzard, Jr. (Barbara) and Marion Sam Blizzard (Angie); grandchildren, Alease Blizzard, Allen L. Blizzard III, Cory Hamilton, Cheyenne and Calista Blizzard; and his brother, J.W. Blizzard. In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Gale Baird Blizzard.

A memorial service for Mr. Blizzard will be held 10 o'clock, Saturday, October 10th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9 o'clock. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 121 Humane Ln, Columbia, SC 29209.
