Allie Chapman Gray Smith, 75, of Columbia, died Monday, April 7, 2014. Born in Rockland, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Alvin Scott Gray and Minerva Gray. Survivors include sons, Walter Scott Smith (Dianna) and Glenn O. Smith, all of Columbia; daughters, Katrina Smith of Lugoff and Roxie Lynn Hudson (Joseph) of Pelion; grandchildren, Charlton Scott Smith (April), Dr. Ashley Linda Davis (Jeremiah), Justin Ray O'Neal, Eric Lee O'Neal, and Dallas Leigh Hudson; great grandchildren, Madelyn Grace Smith and Charlton Scott Smith, Jr.; sisters, Charlotte Alexander (Ralph) of Rogue, TX and Elizabeth and husband, Russell, of Rockland, ME. In addition to her parents, Allie was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Charlton Smith, Jr.; brother, Bob Gambel; and sisters, Eleanor Bardazr and Irene.
