Alton "Al" Bradford "Brad" Finley, 70, of Ridgeway, died on Friday, March 11, 2022. Born November 7, 1951, in Ridgeway, he was the son of the late Alton B. Finley and Nellie Mae Rabon Beckham Finley Wood.

Al attended and graduated from Midlands Technical College where he earned his Associates degree in accounting. He was a proud US Marine Corps veteran, having served in Vietnam and recently received a Vietnam Service award. Quilts of Valor, SC also acknowledged Al's dedication and service to his country by presenting him with a special quilt. Al was a man, bigger than life, who had a big heart, a stubborn side, with a sense of humor. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish, along with being an automobile and motorcycle enthusiast.

Brad was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church. He, along with his friend, Cecil Moseley, created and constructed a large cedar cross, made from wood off the Finley land, for all to see and enjoy while attending, or passing by the church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Trish" Williams; sons, Everette "Rhett" (Melody) Hair, III, Ryan (Debra) Hair; granddaughter, Allison Hair; niece, Jennifer (John) Frederick; nephews, Harold "Fuzzy" Brice, Jr., Bill (Angie) Rockholt; sisters, Joyce Brice, and Joan (Bill) Ollie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Arant, and Myrtle Bowen.

A private graveside will be held at Sandy Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will hold a reception at Beulah United Methodist Church from 4 until 7 o'clock, Saturday, March 19, 2022, to celebrate Al. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
