Rev. Alvin Leroy Roach, 79, of West Columbia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Born in Greenville, SC, on August 23, 1942, he was a son of the late Phillip C. and Theary Metcalf Roach. Rev. Roach was a member of Westside Holiness Church for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Roach; daughters, Dawn Branham (Bruce) and Jessica Craps (Garrett); son, Doug Livingston (Deidra); grandchildren, Brandon Tabor, Sarah Branham, Kyleigh Craps, Malachi Craps, Liam Craps, Emberlee Craps, Brent Livingston and Tiffany Livingston; his brother, Arthur Roach; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Livingston; and brothers, Phillip C. Roach, Jr., Walter Roach and Tommy Roach.

The funeral service for Mr. Roach will be held at 2 o'clock, on Saturday, June 11th, at Westside Holiness Church, 527 Augusta St, West Columbia, SC with Rev. James Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church beginning at 1 o'clock. Burial will be held at Celestial Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 13th, at 12 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
