Ana Luisa Santiago, age 80, died Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, a daughter of the late Nelson Gaston Chavez and Clara Moreira Chavez. Mrs. Santiago was a faithful parishioner of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Columbia. She was loved by her Latin community and was the former owner of the Panarican Latin Club. Mrs. Santiago was an avid domino player who competed in and won many tournaments over the years. Her love and dedication to her family will always be honored by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Santiago is survived by her children, Cecilia Taylor, Jacqueline Miller, Itzel Alicea, Livinia Santiago (Teresa) and Hector Santiago; grandchildren, Carlos, William, Tatiana, Geovanni, Danny, Larissa, Marianna, Christopher, Trey, and Alex; and great-grandchildren, Isiah, Geovanni, Emanuel, Naomi, Logan, and Madeline. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers.

A Mass of Christian Funeral will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with The Rev. Fr. C. Alexander McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church beginning at 2 o'clock and will have a reception following the service at 6 Sparkleberry Springs Court, Columbia, SC 29229.

Ana loved lots of color and the family has requested those attending the services were vibrant colors in her honor.
