Anita Rosemarie Cashdollar, 85, of Columbia, died Thursday, July 6, 2023. Mrs. Cashdollar was born in Germany and met her late husband, Glenn Francis Cashdollar, while he was stationed there in the US military. Following their marriage, they moved to the US and began their family. Mrs. Cashdollar was a graduate of Columbia College where she earned her bachelor's degree in accounting. She worked as an accountant for many years in the food service industry. Mrs. Cashdollar enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, camping, and traveling.

Survivors include her children, Christine Ann Cashdollar of Columbia and Glenn G. Cashdollar (Tammy) of Columbia. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ashley Marie Cashdollar of Columbia and Glenn Francis Cashdollar (Sylvia) of San Diego, CA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Elva Danielwoski Schmidt, as well as her longtime devoted companion, Gene Tarbrake.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock, Wednesday, July 12th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC.
