"Toni" Ann Baum, 81, of Columbia, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Born December 10, 1935 In Pineville, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Taylor and Ollie Mae Ott Taylor Lee. Mrs. Baum worked as a bookkeeper and loved to bowl and play bingo.

Survivors include her children, Gene Melton, Denise Friend, Karen Melton, Joseph Melton, Cindy Jane Englebert; brother, Maxie Edward Lee, Jr. (Nancy); sisters, Evelyn Maxine Ball (Donald), Carolyn Hammons (James); special niece and caregiver, Janice Santos; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Maxie Edward Lee, Sr.; a son, Michael Anthony Melton; sister, Nancy Melton; brothers, William Wayne Taylor and Roger Dale Lee.

A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, May 13th at Royal Pines Memorial Cemetery, 8th Street at 9th Street, Winnsboro, with the Rev. Donald Ball officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 o'clock, Saturday prior to the service at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
