Anne Elizabeth Baldo, 87, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Mary Hague Woodard. Anne was a charter member of Capital City Baptist Church. She enjoyed 40 years of faithful service to this congregation as a Sunday school teacher and volunteer in many capacities.

Survivors include sons: Bob Gilbert (Donna) of Arizona, Richard Gilbert (Sue) of Indiana, Don Gilbert (Tammy) of Indiana and Tim Gilbert (Shannon) of Elgin, South Carolina. A daughter, Anne Thompson (Allen) also of Elgin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Baldo.

The private funeral service for Mrs. Baldo will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 2 o'clock pm at Capital City Baptist Church, 2243 Percival Road, Columbia, SC, 29223. The Rev. Paul Monroe will officiate. Private burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbia. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is assisting the family.
