Anne Hallman Harmon, of Columbia, died on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late David Brooks Hallman and the late Grace Gleaton Hallman and spent a happy, healthy life. She was the widow of Charles Larry Harmon.

She was a lifelong member of Park Street Baptist Church in Columbia. She retired from A.C. Flora High School and greatly enjoyed working with the students. Anne loved her family, friends, and pets.

She is survived by three sons, Frank Thomson, David Thomson (Sharon), and Keith Thomson; five grandchildren, Edwin Wood, Ian Thomson, Sarah Anne Thomson, William Thomson (Megan), and Michael Thomson; one great-grandson, Lee Thomson, one sister-in-law, Virginia Harmon, and her chosen brother, John Gleaton (Patai).

The family requests that memorials be made to The Cooperative Ministry, Columbia Animal Services, or a charity of one's choice in Anne's name.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 11, at 1 o'clock, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC.
