Anne Lyle Jackson Moon, 92, of Columbia, died Saturday, August 5, 2017. Born December 6, 1924, in York County, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Clifford Jackson and Lessie Martin Jackson.

Mrs. Moon was a member of Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church. She was employed by Seibels Bruce for 17 years, and served as a volunteer with Ensor Forest Homes.

Survivors include her son, William R. Moon; daughter, Kay M. Roberts; grandchildren, William R. Moon, Jr., (Laura), Stacey Roberts Hayes (Joel), and Kimberly Anne Roberts Sulak (Chuck); seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Willingham Moon; brother, Earl S. Jackson; and sister, Edith J. Schaewe.

The funeral service for Mrs. Moon will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, August 9th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, with Pastor Scott Smoak officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1 o'clock. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
