Obituary
Mrs. Anne Linder Morse, 70, of Columbia, died Saturday, September 11, 2021. Born in Columbia, Anne was a daughter of the late George English Linder, Jr., and Evelyn Allen Linder.
She was the wife of Robert Josiah Morse, also of Columbia. They were married for 48 years. Anne was a graduate of Dreher High School and the University of South Carolina with a degree in elementary and early childhood education. She taught in the Richland One school district. She was the sweetest of souls and for all who knew and loved her, 9/11 will now forever be doubly sad.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; David Josiah Morse (Gina), Carol Anne Morse Barnao (Matt); grandchildren; Alexander Josiah Morse, Autumn Leigh Morse, Ethan Morse Barnao, Lily Anne Barnao, Alex Bunnell, Madison Clifford; brother, George English Linder, III (Sarah); and sister, Catherine Linder Conte (Tom).
A private family service will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
