Annie Ruth Bundrick Huffstetler, 79, of West Columbia, died Monday, February 2, 2015. Born October 16, 1935, in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Asbury Franklin and Mary Lou Meetze Bundrick. Annie Ruth was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Bible Study Class. Mrs. Huffstetler was also a member of the Zoo Walkers, Prime Times, Bosom Buddies, the Supporting Sisters of Lexington Medical Center, and since 1999 headed up the first Ladies Walk for Life. She also assisted with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Survivors include her son, Michael "Mike" R. Huffstetler of Easton, MD; her daughter, Deborah "Debbie" K. Ostrander of Charleston; grandchildren, Shane Buff, John, Kyle, Mikey, Caroline, and Chris Huffstetler and Chris and Heather Ostrander; great grandsons, Colton, Hudson and Graylon Huffstetler; her sister, Margaret Lou Mabe of Gilbert; brothers, James Albert Bundrick (Marilyn) of Lexington, Roland Cecil Bundrick of Waco, TX and Richard Forrest Bundrick (Shirley) of West Columbia. In addition to her parents, Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, E. Roy Huffstetler, Jr.; daughter, Shirley Ann Buff; and brother, Buster Bundrick.

The funeral service for Mrs. Huffstetler will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, Feb. 7th, at Reformation Lutheran Church, with The Rev. Tim Bupp officiating. Members of the Prime Times, Zoo Walkers, Bosom Buddies, her Bible Study Class and employees of Alala are invited to serve as honorary pallbearers. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the church parlor, prior to the service, beginning at 10 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is assisting the family.
