Annie Lenora Turkett Ratliff, 95, of Columbia, died Monday, April 17, 2017. Born November 13, 1921, in Wallaceville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Julian Lee and Mary Janet Ellinger Turkett, and the wife of the late William Lacy Ratliff.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Blythewood where she served as secretary, assistant organist, Sunday school teacher, Sunday school organist, and Bible school teacher. Mrs. Ratliff was a member of DAR, the UDC, and the SC Genealogical Society where she was a charter member of Dutch Fork, Kershaw, Fairfield and Lexington County Exchanges.

Survivors include her sister, Ruth Turkett; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Julian E. Turkett and Jonathan L. Turkett.

The graveside service for Mrs. Ratliff will be held 2:30 o'clock, Thursday, April 20th, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Blythewood, with the Reverend Kay Overcash officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Wednesday at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
