Obituary
Anthony Dean Blackwell, 69, of Columbia, died on Monday, June 3, 2024. Born March 31, 1955, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Mamie Blanche Blackwell and Lenword John Blackwell. He will be remembered as a loving brother and father, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his son, Ben Blackwell; daughter, Rene Blackwell, and two brothers, Timothy Blackwell (Anne), and Andrew Blackwell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister in-law, Pam Blackwell.
Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
Survivors include his son, Ben Blackwell; daughter, Rene Blackwell, and two brothers, Timothy Blackwell (Anne), and Andrew Blackwell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister in-law, Pam Blackwell.
