Asa Jordan LeDuc, infant son of Paul Jordan LeDuc and Lindsey Marie LeDuc, died Monday, September 9th, 6 hours after his birth earlier that day. At 12 weeks gestation, Asa was diagnosed with a fatal birth defect. For each moment in the womb and every moment outside the womb, he was deeply loved and cared for. His life was full of purpose and was designed and created by a loving God. The story of his short life has influenced many around the world who followed his story and prayed fervently for him.
In addition to his parents, Asa is survived by his brother Malachi Leduc, all of Columbia; grandparents, Al and Carol Seawell, Roger and Renee LeDuc; aunts and uncles, Todd LeDuc, Sarah and Will Sansbury, Marc and Amanda LeDuc, Gage and Aimee Creech, Ryan Seawell, Jeremy and Beth Seawell, Brandon Seawell, Erin and Jake Lehman.
A service will be held Friday, September 20th, at 6:30 o'clock, at Hope Church, 2609 Seminole Road, Columbia. The burial will be private.
