Ashley Rena Britner, 22, of Lexington, passed away, Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Born February 1, 1991 in Lexington, she was a daughter of Charlene Rena Adkins and the late Michael Cason.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Britner; daughters, Angel Marie, and Serenity Hope Britner; step-sons, Jullian Isaiah, Jaden Emanuel, and Christian Gabrielle Britner; mother, Charlene Adkins; sister, Amber Marie Adkins; brother, Eric Michael Charles Adkins; nieces, Gabrielle Rena Collins and Katie Marie Cason; grandfather, Charles Adkins, Jr.; father-in-law, Jeff Albert; mother-in-law, Belinda Devine, brothers-in-law, Adam and Brandon Britner; grandmother-in-law, Judy Britner; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to her father, Ashley was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Adkins; great-grandmother, Alice Watkins; infant cousin, Kayla Michele-Lyn Dowd.

A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11 o'clock at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Rd., West Columbia, with the Rev. Mark Crumpton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
