Audrey Beach Mock, 94, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at PruittHealth- Ridgeway under Hospice Care. She was born on November 14, 1930 in Rayville, LA. and lived most of her life in the Savannah, GA area. Audrey was a member of Smyrna Methodist Church in Elgin, SC and loved to attend services and women's group meetings.
Audrey enjoyed several hobbies including fishing, racehorses, gardening, watching (and in later years, listening to) every Atlanta Braves' baseball game she could, and traveling. She especially enjoyed her trips to Louisiana to visit her niece Tina (Bo) Wilkes and to New Mexico and Texas with her grandson, Ray. Audrey was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for friends and family while her vision allowed it.
Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, William Walter "Jack" Beach and Audrey Farmer Beach; sisters, Ethel Louise Beach Horne, Evolina Beach (died at 8 months old) and Mary Elaine Beach Campbell); husband, Charlie Relia Mock; son,Walter Alan Mock; and grandson, Donald "Steve" Parrish. She is survived by her step-children, Jeannette Jones (Richard), Joe Mock (Debby), Thomas "Bob" Mock; grandchildren, Justin Mock (Caitlin), Cheyanne Jackson (Allen), Kenneth "Ray" Parrish (Nora), Monica Parrish, Donnette Moak (Norman), Ricky Jones (Kimberly), Jeff Mock (Amy), Joey Mock (Renee), Lindsay Loven (Jamie), Pam Love (Dennis), Bobby Mock (Wendy); great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 o'clock, Friday, March 21st at Smynra Methodist Church, 16 Smynra Road, Elgin, SC 29045.
