Barbara Johnson Bagley, 72, of Columbia, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Born in Johnston County, NC on April 30, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Elbert and Lennie Pearl Lassiter Johnson. Barbara was a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church and the Susan Lewis Sunday School Class. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and playing the piano, as well as her volunteer activities at Palmetto Health Baptist. Barbara loved being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Mike (Harlan) Bagley and Tim (Courtnie) Bagley; daughters, Kathy (Jim) Miles and Melisa Johns; grandchildren, Will and Mallory Johns, Caleb, Chloe, Micah, and Tyler Bagley, Meredith, Zach, Colin, Garrett and Hannah Miles, Wrenn, Wyatt, Sawyer and Ethan Bagley; brother, Joseph Elbert Johnson, Jr.; and her dear friend and caregiver, Jane Miles, whom the family would like to thank for her love and support she has always given to Mrs. Bagley. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Worth Wrenn Bagley; sisters, Verlie Chamblee, Lorene Moore and Beatrice Gordon; and grandson, Austin Wrenn Bagley.

The funeral service for Mrs. Bagley will be held 2:30 o'clock, Friday, October 25th, at North Trenholm Baptist Church, with The Rev. R. Joseph Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 pm.
