Barbara Ann Black, 84, of Chesnee, died on November 30, 2021. Born in Ware Shoals, SC, on September 20, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Carlton and Annie Lee Brissey Brock. Mrs. Black was a devoted homemaker and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Boiling Springs Ward. She enjoyed walking, flowers and dancing in her spare time.

Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Black Floyd (Joe); son, Patrick Black (Sheryl); grandchildren, Amanda Merkley, Ashley Floyd (Chase Crouch), Andrew Floyd, Jamie Tran (Timmy Tran), Sallie Floyd, Aubrey Rowe; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Rondal Black; and infant brother.

The graveside service for Mrs. Black will be held at 3 p.m, Sunday, December 5th, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 3302 Hwy. 25 N, Hodges, SC 29653. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
