Mrs. Barbara Morris Phillips, 88, of Blythewood, SC, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. Born on May 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Iseman P. Morris and Mary Lou Gibbons Morris.

She was a radiant soul who thrived under the sun's warm embrace, finding pure joy in the simple pleasures of beach days, where the sand beneath her feet and the ocean's endless horizon mirrored her zest for life. The thrill of the casino lights and the excitement of the games added a touch of adventure to her days, but nothing compared to the deep love and laughter she shared with her family. Whether she was basking in the sun, enjoying a lively night at the casino, or surrounded by the people she cherished most, her heart was always full, reflecting her boundless spirit and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.

She is survived by, four nieces, Terry Netecke (Ray) of Blythewood, SC, Barbara Corbett of Cayce, SC, Peggy Blackwell (Wayne), and Penny Byrd; one nephew, Bobby McLaurin, Jr. of Florida; and multiple great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband of 45 years, Wyman Phillips; two sisters, Nancy Ruth Morris, and Stella Dallmann; and one niece, Brenda L. Dallmann.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Crescent Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2603 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29204, at 10 o'clock.
